I was born and raised in Milpitas, California and have recently relocated to Colorado. I received my Bachelors of Arts degree in Sociology with a minor in Criminal Justice Studies from San Francisco State University in 2019. After graduating, I began working for a Behavioral Health company that provided in-home and in-clinic treatment to children and adults on the Autism Spectrum. In this position, I had the opportunity to work directly with a wide range of ages as well as the parents/caregivers of my clients coming from various backgrounds. While working, I also worked to complete my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Health Psychology at Santa Clara University in which I received my degree in Spring 2023. During my internship for my Masters program, I worked as the Mental Health Therapist at an elementary school where I was providing individual therapy, group therapy, and psychoeducation to my clients, their caregivers, and for school staff when applicable. As a school-based clinician, I worked primarily with anxiety, trauma, social difficulties, and behavior management through DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) and Motivational Interviewing. I am passionate about working with children and their families, and aim to provide the support that works best for them.
