Trish Stanton, MS Counseling Practicum Student
Hi! My name is Trish, I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and I am currently a student with Walden University working to obtain my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
I have worked with children and families for twenty-five years. I spent eighteen years working in early childhood education as a teacher, then as a early childhood coach for directors and teachers. I have spent the last seven years working in the field of social work as a prevention caseworker, as a caseworker and placement coordinator for a child placement agency, and with child protection services. I have a passion for helping others, trauma-informed care, person-centered approaches and walking side-by-side with those I work with to aid in growth, self-awareness and positive change.
