Hi! My name is Lindsay and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate with my Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have spent the majority of my career working alongside families in multiple settings, and I am thrilled to continue to grow and work in a therapeutic setting. My experience throughout graduate school and my internship has allowed me to work with diverse populations including children, adolescents, and adults. I use a client-centered approach to mental health, giving my clients the autonomy to find healing through their therapeutic experience. I believe healing begins through the development of a strong therapeutic relationship and building a strong level of trust and connection. I utilize a variety of different modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Child-Centered Play Therapy, and I am also trained in Synergetic Play Therapy. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe environment for my clients to explore and regulate difficult emotions, process trauma, and cultivate self-efficacy and empowerment. Outside of my career, I enjoy traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with family, friends, and my dog, Nova.
