I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), with over 10 years of experience in my field. I am expected to graduate in 2025 with a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy, specializing in Children and Adolescents. I have experience working with children, adolescents, families, parents, adults, and couples. I use a person/child-centered approach to build rapport and trust with clients, and integrate that with Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Multisystemic Family Therapy (MST), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness techniques, Motivational Interviewing, and Gottman and Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT). I have education and experience working with families, adolescents, and children. I have additional professional education hours in Child Centered Play Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, and Filial Therapy.

I recently received a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy with an emphasis on Children and Adolescents and am a Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate in Colorado. I am a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and the Rocky Mountain National Therapeutic Network. I have obtained certifications in Mental Health First Aid – Adults, Mental Health First Aid – Youth, and Crisis Management.

I received Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University. I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I also have experience with trauma, abuse, depression, anxiety, health issues, body dysmorphia, divorce, loss, and raising children.
Mackenzie Saulnier, MACP, LAC, LPCC
I am graduate of Colorado States Masters of Addiction Counseling. I offer services to clients who are struggling with addiction, domestic violence, childhood trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, and personality disorders. I have experience in treating adolescents struggling with mental health and addiction. I also work with women clients who are struggling with addiction, mental health, and unhealthy relationships. Another area I work in is with men and women who have been involved or are currently involved in the corrections systems. I also specialize in LGBTQ+ treatment and population.

During my internship for my Masters program, I worked as the Mental Health Therapist at an elementary school where I was providing individual therapy, group therapy, and psychoeducation to my clients, their caregivers, and for school staff when applicable. As a school-based clinician, I worked primarily with anxiety, trauma, social difficulties, and behavior management through DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) and Motivational Interviewing. I am passionate about working with children and their families, and aim to provide the support that works best for them.

While obtaining my bachelor's degree, I gained experience working with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, and other behavioral disorders. I worked as a Registered Behavior Therapist, providing applied behavioral analysis therapy when working with these children and their families. I also gained experience with children of other varying behavioral disorders as a Mental Health Worker, providing after-school respite care.

We are hiring part-time or full-time Unlicensed or Licensed Therapists to conduct intakes and assessments, develop and monitor treatment plans, document services, meet billable service standards and consult with internal and external professionals to proactively coordinate patient care. Ideal candidates should be trained in Marriage and Family Therapy and/or Play Therapy working with children, adolescents, families adults, and/or couples. We prefer an LMFT or MFT Candidate, and open to hiring other licensed and provisionally licensed clinicians e.g. LPCC, LPC, Unlicensed Psychotherapists. Unlicensed Therapists will receive quality supervision for clinical hours towards licensure. Therapists are provided a furnished office space and caseload.
