I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate who earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in the summer of 2026. Originally from Philadelphia, I have spent much of the past decade living and working throughout the western United States before returning home to continue my clinical work. Before pursuing a career in mental health, I received my bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from Drexel University in 2019 and spent several years working as an outdoor educator. In this role, I led students on outdoor adventures while teaching environmental education, which deepened my appreciation for resilience, connection, and personal growth. My path into the mental health field began with wilderness therapy, where I worked as a field instructor with adolescents in Utah, serving as a guide and mentor. I later continued working with adolescents in a residential treatment setting before completing my clinical internship in Philadelphia. Over the past four and a half years, I have gained experience supporting individuals, couples, and families navigating various concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship and marital conflict, and parent-child relationship challenges. My primary goal is to create a collaborative, nonjudgmental, and empowering space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported as they build on their existing strengths.

I approach the therapeutic process through a family systems lens, recognizing that our relationships and experiences shape the way we understand ourselves and interact with the world around us. My work is informed by evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Gottman Method interventions, attachment theory, and trauma-informed care. I tailor my approach to each individual's unique needs, values, and goals. As a Chilean woman, I also bring a multicultural perspective to my work, and I am deeply committed to practicing with cultural humility. I am very passionate about working with marginalized communities, helping to reduce stigma around mental health while creating an open and accepting environment where those of various cultural backgrounds feel welcome. I proudly provide LGBTQ+-affirming care and enjoy working with clients of all ages, abilities, backgrounds, and identities.
