Hello! My name is Leslie. I'm originally from San Diego, CA, and recently moved to Colorado. I am currently an MFT intern.  Before beginning my graduate training, I worked in educational and behavioral health settings. My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, cultural humility, and a belief in the healing power of safe, affirming relationships.  These experiences have helped deepen my understanding of how systems impact mental health and strengthened my commitment to supporting individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. I am passionate about working with marginalized communities such as BIPOC and LGBTQ+ clients, as well as those navigating trauma, relational distress, identity development, and anxiety. My clinical approach integrates Narrative Therapy, CBT, and person-centered practices. I strive to create collaborative spaces where clients feel heard, valued, and supported. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and I work to meet clients where they are, honoring their stories, strengths, and goals for growth.
