Hello! My name is Mackenzie Zimmerman, and I am a Clinical Mental Health intern. For the past three years, I worked in play-based early intervention ABA with children ages 1-7, which made me recognize the power of play as a safe and creative outlet for people of all ages. Additionally, I am passionate about incorporating movement and sports into my therapy. I lean towards experiential, ACT, and narrative approaches. 

I am completing my Clinical Mental Health master’s degree at the University of Colorado Denver and received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Human Rights from Southern Methodist University.  I am passionate about creating a collaborative relationship and believe clients are the masters of their own lives.
