Hi! My name is Andrea Gutierrez, and I'm a Practicum student currently pursuing my master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. I am a first-generation Mexican American who seeks to make mental health services available to the Latino and BIPOC community of Denver, Colorado.

I am a Houstonian at heart, but carry immense care and appreciation for the people of Colorado. I grew up speaking Spanish and am available for sessions in English and Spanish. 

I currently work with children, teens, couples, families, and individual adults. I like to approach client sessions in a warm, supportive, compassionate, and non-judgmental manner. I value meeting with clients at whatever stage they’re currently at and care about supporting individuals and families through life’s various changes while honoring and respecting their unique and cultural backgrounds. 

In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors, reading, and spending time with my dog, Siobhan (Aka Shivy). I look forward to working with you!

¡Hola! Me llamo Andrea Gutiérrez, soy estudiante de práctica y estoy trabajando en mi maestría en Consejería Clínica de Salud Mental en la Universidad de Walden. Soy mexicoamericana de primera generación y mi objetivo es traer servicios de salud mental a la comunidad latina y a las personas BIPOC de Denver, Colorado. 

Soy de Houston, pero siento un gran cariño y aprecio por la gente de Colorado. Crecí hablando español y estoy disponible para sesiones en inglés y español. 

Trabajo con niños, adolescentes, parejas, familias y adultos. Me gusta abordar las sesiones con mis clientes de una manera comprensiva, compasiva y sin prejuicios. Valoro reunirme con mis clientes en cualquier etapa en la que se encuentren y me interesa apoyar a las personas y familias en los diversos cambios de la vida, respetando sus orígenes culturales. 

En mi tiempo libre, disfruto estar en las montañas, leer y pasar tiempo con mi perra, Siobhan (también conocida como Shivy). ¡Espero trabajar con usted!
