Kristina Goldbach, LMFT, is a seasoned clinician, supervisor, and program leader with more than 15 years of clinical experience across a variety mental health treatment environments and levels of care. She is known for building values-driven teams, delivering high quality evidence-based care, and developing and implementing clinical treatment programs that meet the complex needs of children, adolescents, families, and multidisciplinary staff.
Throughout her career, Kristina has held multiple progressive leadership roles. In these positions, she supervised clinicians and multidisciplinary teams, ensured regulatory compliance, coordinated intakes and discharge planning, and represented her teams in statewide and regional initiatives. Her clinical background spans outpatient treatment, intensive in-home services, early childhood mental health, extended day treatment, inpatient and residential care, with expertise in crisis intervention, diagnostic assessment, and family-centered treatment planning.
Recognized for her strength-based and compassionate approach, Kristina excels in reflective supervision, program development, and collaborative partnerships with community providers and funders, with a demonstration of her commitment to treating all individuals with respect, fairness, and understanding. As a CPI-certified trainer, she brings additional expertise in non-violent crisis intervention and de-escalation.
Kristina’s clinical approach includes evidence-based interventions from treatment models such as CBT, ARC, MATCH-ADTC, CBITS, Triple P, and ACT. Additionally, Kristina incorporates expressive arts therapy techniques, as well as play therapy and sand tray therapy, into her clinical work. Kristina holds a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Art Therapy from Notre Dame de Namur University and a BFA in Art Therapy from The College of New Rochelle. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Colorado, as a recently new resident of the state of Colorado, who was previously living and working as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Connecticut. In her free time, Kristina enjoys art and live music, as well as outdoor recreation, including hiking, climbing and snowboarding - interests which brought her to explore all that Colorado has to offer. Kristina believes in patience, gratitude, self-reflection and being a life-long learner, and brings these values to her clinical work and supervision
