Hello! My name is Vildan, and I am a graduate student at the University of Colorado Denver pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2021.
I have several years of experience working with families, children, and adolescents in social work as a child protection services caseworker. This professional background has shaped my strong commitment to trauma-informed care, person-centered practice, and a systems-based understanding of mental health.
My clinical approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and client-centered. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. I am particularly mindful of how culture, family systems, and lived experiences influence mental health, and I approach therapy with cultural humility and curiosity. I value working with clients from diverse backgrounds. I collaborate with clients at their current stage of change to identify goals and develop strengths-based approaches that foster growth and meaningful progress.
