Lizzie Stevenson is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Clinical Supervisor with over 20 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. Her approach is grounded in attachment theory, family systems, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), supporting clinicians in understanding relational patterns, emotional processes, and the dynamics that shape connection and change. Lizzie has extensive experience working with couples, adolescents, trauma, and high-conflict family systems, as well as life transitions such as divorce and co-parenting. She brings additional expertise in supervision, program development, and training clinicians, with a strong foundation in integrating theory into real-world practice. As a supervisor, she is warm, collaborative, and attuned—helping clinicians slow down in session, track interactional cycles, and build confidence and clarity in their clinical voice. In addition to her clinical work, Lizzie has developed and led training and internship programs in both California and Colorado and has served as an adjunct professor teaching child development, lifespan development, and counseling theories. She brings a thoughtful, strengths-based approach to supervision, creating a space that is both supportive and growth-oriented.
