Hello! My name is Alissa Sanchez and I am a MA-MFT Practicum Student/ Intern. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Child and Adolescent Family Therapy. I received a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies which sparked my passion for working with families navigating life transitions, conflict, and grief. I am passionate about mental health advocacy and treatment for children, adolescents, and adults.I have worked in early childhood education settings, volunteered with grandfamily support groups, and completed an internship abroad supporting adults at a mental health day center.Outside of the office, I spend as much time as I can enjoying the outdoors, reading, or playing the piano.
