Hi! My name is Bobbiejo. I am currently a student and I hold a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a minor in Human Services from Colorado Technical University. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Colorado Christian University. Over the past decade, I have worked extensively with children and families in community settings, gaining experience with diverse populations and developing a strong foundation in advocacy, trauma-informed practice, and culturally responsive support. I am employed within a law enforcement environment where I have gained meaningful insight into crisis response, victim needs, and the importance of ethical, collaborative care.

My commitment to the counseling profession has also been shaped by my lived experience. Having a brother with significant mental health needs has given me a personal understanding of the challenges families face and the impact mental health has on the entire family system. This perspective strengthens my dedication to providing compassionate, developmentally appropriate care.

Authenticity is central to my work. I strive to remain grounded, approachable, and down-to-earth in my interactions with clients, families, and colleagues. I believe that genuine connection is essential for healing, especially for children who rely on trust and safety to grow. My professional interests focus on supporting children’s emotional, social, and behavioral development. Through my years of community work, I have developed a deep passion for helping young people build resilience, feel understood, and envision a brighter future.

I enjoy romance movies, spending time with family and friends, and reading a book on a nice fall evening.
