Hi, I’m Wylie! I am a clinical mental health counseling intern completing my master’s degree at the University of Colorado Denver. I am born and raised here in Colorado, only to move away to earn my bachelor's degree at Elon University in Psychology and Early Childhood.  I have worked for over 13 years with children in a variety of settings and most recently the past three years supporting young children and families as a Registered Behavior Technician and Lead RBT. This work strengthened my passion for helping children feel understood, supported, and comfortable expressing themselves. My counseling approach is warm, collaborative, playful, and trauma-informed. I believe that every client brings unique strengths, experiences, and identities into the counseling space. I strive to create an accepting environment where clients feel safe being themselves while exploring difficult emotions, building confidence, and developing skills that support meaningful change. As a counselor, I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they better understand themselves, recognize their resilience, and create lives that feel more authentic and fulfilling.
